Karl Ruppert passed away today....RIP brother Karl

today Karl Ruppert was found in his home by his landlord. we do not know of any other info other than it has been confirmed by his family members.

Team Shadow Extreme SPL and West Coast Extreme SPL would like to send our condolenses to his family members at this time of mourning.

Karl loved to compete and loved SPL. He always attened shows where his budget would allow and would always help out to place a mic whenever his help was needed. Karl just wanted to compete and now that he is gone....we will miss him dearly....

RIP brother Karl.....RIP

I can't believe that my longtime friend and ex-teammate is gone......we had know each other since grade school, through scouting, through high school and into our adult lives. competed together and against each other through thick and thin and now he has passed on at 42...not right.
goodbye my friend and fellow competitor.... you will be missed in the lanes.

I didn't know him... was he on the forum?

Either way... very sad when we lose an enthusiast and fellow competitor. Thanks for the update Jen & Pat

Me and my husband live next door to Karl and were the ones to find his body yesterday, we'd only known Karl a short time but he was a super nice guy. They don't know the cause of death at this time. Our 10 year old son was looking forward to Karl teaching him car audio installation and loved to sit in Karls car and pump the stereo. Our son has expressed that he would like to buy Karls car on payments if he can and continue to enter into competitions in Karls memory. We would like to attend the next competetion in Karls memory where and when would that be? RIP Karl
