kicker set-up help...

Currently I'm looking to get some S12L7's, probably 2. My question is, would the KICKER SX650.1 power 2 of these ok? Or would I just be better off getting 1 S12L7. Or should I save for a bigger amp?

Thanks

Well to recommend a proper amp, we need to know about the coils on the subs your looking at. Other wise I used to have 2 12" L7's. 650.1 is not enough.. not even close. For 2 (if staying with kicker) then get a kx/zx 1500.1 if its just one you still want around 800rms.

maybe even the ZX series amps? I'm just trying to figure out what to order. Also, 2 or 4ohms DVC subs?

Wink

for burps, 3-6kwrms per pair..depending upon box volume&tuning.
they will get loud, but the shiney siver cones pop their centres out.
3 kw for the pair daily is ok, just don't listen to 'lil john cranked for more than a few minutes..lol

Ok so say I get 2 S12L7's DVC, a zx1500 would be a nice amp to power these?
