That's a great idea Jordy, if Audiowaves can't do it maybe we can set up another show somewhere in October. The big thing is weather; it would be awesome if we could find a building somewhere that we could hold the event in, that way we don't have to worry if the weather doesn't cooperate.

What about running an IASCA Double E event at the Audiowaves show? If I can set it up to have Jeff Fronk come up with his meter, we could do the show in the double elimination format for IdBL and test it here. The only thing is we'd have to make sure we have enough SPL competitors to make it worthwhile to have Jeff come up. Anyone interested?

it has to be a certified iasca meter. there are only like what? 3-4 of them? basically only the meter owned by a judge is official.

 

could this decision be done in the next couple of days as I am trying to get a 2x dB drag going on the same weekend. It is the cutoff date on the sunday of that weekend.

 

Richard, Yuli's right, the meter has to be a certified IASCA SA-3056 meter and belong to an authorized World Record judge, and at this time there are only six such meters in North America. We're working on a training program for IdBL judges that will include those that already own meters, but nothing's finalized yet. As soon as it is, I will definitely be letting you know so we can get you certified, because I need ya man!
