Local Comp - Brockville
 

Ok everyone i was wonderin how many would be interested in a db drag here in Brockville We have 2 shops in town and if i can get eough ppl im sure they would do it so let me know if i get enough ppl on here ill go and talk to them and see what we can do

Also just to be clear i have no knowledge of how to sanction an event or anything so im pretty sure this will be a for fun type of gathering

Ok i talked to the owner of Superior Celluler and sound and he would be willing to sponser some prizez and space as long as someone else organizes it so i will try. and his mic only goes up to 160 db and he would rather do a door prize setup as many ppl in this town have small systems and he would like it to appeal to those as well as well as sg ppl if any would like to go and show of there nicely set up systems and of course the top db would get bragging rights this will be the 1st time i have ever done this so i will try my best as long as i can get the ppl to show thanx

if you make it a sanctioned db drag, kingston and gan cars will be there for sure

id go for sure. and if eddy is in on it, i'm in on it.
not sure if i would compete but i would definitly show up.


only thing is, ed has an audiocontrol setup, most people here would want a termlab setup.

i also have a guy gonna build a sub box as a prize with a fiberglass front he does relly good work so any more ppl were look at maybe may or june

there is already an event in k-town on june 10th i was wonderin when the best weekend for everyone is?

k-town ?.. kemptville or Kingston?.. pff, kingston is stupidly far, and people from there won't come down to b-rock so whenever the guy that lends us the space has time or a weekend, then make it that weekend.. if we pick a date ahead of time, then people will have time to make time :).

kingston is closer to brockville than ottawa is.

Actually ... a group of us from K-Town will be in Arnprior July 1st. We have also been telling the sound guys about the show in Brockville. Daytona, Ottawa, Toronto, we will be there.

it is just gonna be a local comp

it may be a good idea to change the post name to bass comp or something. dB Drag is an organization that a lot of people in Ontario like to attend. The last thing that you would want is people showing up expecting it to be a dB Drag event. Just trying to help.
