Lightbulb

not to discourage you son, but find a new "dream"

I can tell you that any chain is hiring in just about any store location right now. Especially in the Vancouver - Chilliwack area.

Give Rob at Forbidden Audio a call in Courtenay. Just down the road from you and he does some good work. One of the last good independents left!

Thanks Chad!!!! It has been a rewarding career for me as well. You get what you put into it. Be a sleazeball, you will not get far at all. Be honest and learn all along the way and you can do quite well. I have just recently brought on a 2nd full time installer and currently have 3 part time installers as well. I cannot expect someone to drive for 2 hours (at the speed limit or you would never work for me) to come up here and hope to work. Days off, well that is up to you if you want to come up and find out what the business is about. Am I hiring right now, no I am not. Am I keeping options open, yes I am.

We are hiring installers for Kits and North Vancouver -- email your resume
to washburn@telus.net

I have a couple of recommendations for you:

- Fire out as many resumes as you can
- Try working somewhere before you spend a ton of cash on classes
- Try working somewhere before you relocate yourself and your family
- Be willing to learn
- Realize you may have to start at the bottom

This can be a rewarding industry, but as my Father taught me -- anything work having is worth working for -- no one starts at the top.

Just my 2 cents
