So, since I'm far to broke to even think about driving up to Bonneyville & Cold Lake for the events on the long weekend, I'm thinkin' we should have a test & tune at my shop again.

Any takers? Objections?

I'm thinkin' on the holiday Monday, May 23rd. That way, whoever went up to Cold Lake and wants to retune for the 3X the following weekend, here's a good place for it to happen.

We'll need someone to bring an SPL meter again, please...

And since we'll have the whole day (I'll show up at 9:00am, we're closed, but we can make a day of it), and (big scary voice) THE WEATHER WILL COOPERATE, we can set up a wood cutting zone out on the driveway.

That work? Monday okay?

Come by the shop tomarrow.
I just picked up another sheet today and did a box. Still have a little over half a sheet left. And we might as well take advantage of the table saw while we still can.

K this is still a go! Test n' Tune (or retune? )Monday, May 23rd, 9:00am till midnight or whenever. Come when ya can! Location at my shop, click the link in my siggy below for the address.

Sounds like we WILL be doing a little building, so I'll make sure I have a circular saw and basic hand sander around... That's about all I have available for wood tools, so if anyone wants to bring some, please do so!

Home Depot Chinook is just 5 minutes south of the shop, so if we need any wood or hardware, we can do so quite easily. Wire, welding cable (#4, #2, & #2/0), connectors, shrink tube, & other related items are always in stock at my shop.

Ummm... Someone wanna offer up an SPL mike system again? Pretty please?

Liqour store & car wash are a 30 second walk from the shop... Mr. Sub & Hooters are across the street for lunch or dinner, and pizZza always available by phone

Ya I wanna test a couple things in the van, I'm really hoping someone shows up with an SPL mike...

First, I wanna test it as is - With my port cover installed and running ~32hz. I've been moving aound my box for a week or so, behind the seat firing back, on it's back firing up, port rear, port front, port side... Also threw it up on my rear seat and tried it firing to the windshield. Funny, it seems louder (amd definately sounds better) when it's in the back and ripping through the whole vehicle, rather than on the seat pointing forward.

Then the port cover comes off and stays off till the show.

I don't get my lokies till the next day, Tuesday, which kinda sucks. The guy that services them at my warehouse is on holidaze till then, but he promised to have a couple ready for me by Tuesday night / Wednesday morning. He'll melt an extra post onto one of them, at the third cell, so that I can run 15v instead of 16v (my amp supposedly shuts down at 15.9v). So all I should have to do Tuesday is drop 'em in, tie 'em up, hook 'em up, and try 'em out

So ya, Aaron, looks like it's just you & I in the SS NW division eh... *grins* Six batteries you're running eh? Two subs I assume, what's that amp of yours put out?
