JL audio W7 woofers are great woofers. thye are very loud, and good sounding. but unfortunatly there are a lot beter woofers for SPL. as skocking canada has mentioned the DD99 series is the best subs i have ever used as well. I came in 7th place at world finals with a 152.5. and now i am doing a 153.8 with them, also in a CRX! so you have great potential, especially with the help of Father and others here on the board.

I talked to my buddy today and he has cash and wants my equipment. Shocking you got mail dude I want to get the DDs as long as everyone agrees they are when I need to be competitive. I don't know much about these stereo competitions but I definately want to be hardcore on them next year! I am all excited I can hardly wait, do you guys think I can do good? Father I saw you want to do a team and that sounds cool with me. I don't really know what I need other than these speakers so maybe you can help me out with rules and stuff for the competitions and help me figure out what I need and stuff!

Yeah Spun those DD woofers would be a GREAT start to building a very competitive car.
The price he's selling them for is a LOT cheaper than retail as well so I'd hop on it.
