Hey...If this "Show in the Snow" idea doesnt pan out, who would be up for just having a get together where u chip in $XX and just spend an afternoon testing, tuning, and just having some fun?

I know I would be up for it...I've got a heap load of testing to do myself...

Ya I can offer up my shop for test & tunes... Soemthing I've been meaning to do anyway, but just haven't had the time. I'm very thankful that December is done and gone finally, was uber-busy month for me.

But, I'm finding my groove again. Instead of sugar-plums & Xmas tress, my head is now filled with visions of sub boxes, head units (mine's out for warranty service yet again, FIFTH time, they're getting me a new one), and Power Wheels.

Chipping in $XX shouldn't even be necessary, it's my shop, doesn't cost me nothing to hang out after work for a few evenings. The only time you'd need to chip in is if you use some shop supplies (wire, cable, connectors, etc).

Speaking of which... What's available at my shop for test & tunes: We're not a stereo shop, we're an auto repair shop with an electrical specialty. So I stock batteries, starters, alternators, wire, welding cable, crimp connectors for wire, solder/crimp connectors for cable, shrink tube, terminals, cell phone accessories, ALL batteries you could ever ask for (cell, cordless, camcorder, watches, electronics, medical, seismic, etc. etc, everything except laptops, which I can get, sometimes). We have 3 bays, 2 hoists (I sublease the other 3 bays to a general mechanic, so it's full o' cars and engines and stuff) that we can use for the T&T. If we're building boxes (duh...), we'll have to cut the wood outside to keep the dust off everything, we could setup some horses for sawing right out front, or in the parking lot to the side.

Anyway (I'm babbling again aren't I...), why don't we have a T&T next weekend, we can get together for a few cold ones, discuss me holding the show in the snow, and get a system going, something like "every third Friday of a given month" or "every other weekend" or whatever. Friday or Saturday nights work for me, and the shop is closed Sundays, so we can use Sundays to spill into for big Sat. night jobs.

So let's see.... Test & tune Friday, Jan. 28th, 5:30pm till whenever. BYOB (the Blue Bays liquor store & car wash is across the alley, a 30 second walk), there's a pop machine in the shop too. Anyone who wishes to show, please do so, no RSVP necessary. Whoever shows, shows. If no one shows, I'll just play on the shop computer for the evening For location/directions, see www.allstart.net

Edit: Oh, I have little woodworking tools. Like, a hammer, and an old handsaw, that's about it. So if you're planning to work with wood this T&T, someone's gonna have to bring some woodworking tools please.

Hey, I'm totally game. I have no idea whatsoever of how I can be of a help, but if I can, just ask, hit me up with a PM somebody. I'll push as many buttons as I can. It sure is warm here in Calgary, now would be a great time. Hey, if Im going to get my *** handed to me on a silver platter by Rob or Aaron, now is just as good of a time as any. (jokes) I'd love to help out.

Now that the date has been changed to Saturday,I will most likely be able to make it now...YEAH!!

Graham,I don't think this will be so much "who's louder" but more of a "Lets see where we stand,Lets get some resonent freq's down and get a baseline of where we need to go this season"...

And if we happen to do a couple head to head's so much the better to have some fun...

Come one....Come all....I personally can't wait!!
