No x1 x2 or x3 has had anygood turn out this year
Two many shows
Dont thow your money away on any shows
Go to the the ones already going on (not just mine but the rest of them to )
Sorry guys but next year we will have very few shops putting on shows
It is over saturated this year and the shops doing it now will tell you that
Ask rich he is starting to have shops back out or not commit for next year

the problem isn't too many shows it too few competitors. You can't count on the hardcores to make your shows good you need to actuallu PROMOTE THEM outside of CCA to the locals. Gibbys in St.Catharines always has a good turnout despite not getting any hardcore people because they are just held once a month and are advertised around the store, and on their sign which has alot of people drive by. If they had a dbdrag even more people would turn out, shows are not a bust but you ca'nt rely on CCA to bring a strong turnout

I agree it's not too many shows. In May yeah it was a little rough with there being so many close together but it's ing out now. So who's responsibility is it then to find competitors? The shops? They don't seem to think so. If they're cancelling future shows and not commiting to next year they certainly don't see it as their problem. So who's to blame?? Richard? the competitors? It's a vicious circle. As a competitor it's not my responsibility to recruit other people to come but we're the best people for the job. Finding competitors in my opinoin should be the responsibility of the show organizers and the shop. I tell people on my team and I ask a few of the guys I've run against if they're attending upcoming shows. I may lose becasue of it,. but hey it's about having a good time, not about winning.

It is totally the shops responsability to promote the show, if the shop isn't going to promote you can't help them its not your fault they are stupid let them waste their money afterall the show is to bring people into their shop if they want that to do any good they need locals the only thing pros can do is inspire the locals to do better. Also back in the day everyone used strokers and US amps...shows at Gibbys were dominated by that gear and the shop sold that gear...the shop needs to make sure that the loudest vehicle at the show uses gear that they sell...the only way to do that is to spend the time and build a demo car so people will think that the gear you sell is the and want to buy it. Right now even if a local comes to a show they see American Bass, Cactus, TFOne and DD dominating...since no shops sell those brands for the most part its not helping them. They need to either stop holding shows and settlefor the fact that as the economy slows they will go out of business or fight and promote the product they sell via the avenue of stereo shows...if they want to have a show and not do that then there is no helping them because they just don't get the principles of advertising. Advertising is NOT bringing people to your shop who have no intention in ever buying anything there which is what is happening with these lazy shops who expect Richard to do all the work. In general is sad to say but it seems like people who run audio shops are uneducated in everything except wiring cars and that shows badly, this is an opportunity for these shops but they just **** it away

I agree with you 100% Tom... when I had my shop I used to do quite a few shows... I built an SPL/Daily driver demo vehicle using ALL AUDIOBAHN and guess what it was the loudest of show at every show I held... betcha u can guess what product i sold the most... ofcourse AUDIOBAHN! and the regular customers that came to buy also did well with it in the small classes in competition... so what im trying to say if the shops want to make money that they cry about they are not making... its their own fault for being LAZY.
at he prices the CAnadian AMERICAN BASS distributor has it should not be dificult for shops to cary the product and build a loud demo vehicle... same goes with SOUNDSTREAM... just that demo vehicle needs some TLC from someone that knows it...lol...
