2 small citys actually...

ShockingCanada 03-03-2008 08:39 AM

maybe I am missing something...its only 8 batteries thats not that many...is this going to be like for SS 1-2? or perhaps its just for a demo vehicle with like one of the soundstream 15000watters?

Thats what I was thinking, 8 batteries is not that many.

NTOXKTD 03-03-2008 10:12 AM

so 8 is not lots. wow

johnw 03-03-2008 10:18 AM

For which class, SS1-2 its barly enought for SS3-4 its half of what is needed......for your civic its WAY to much.....you can do a 150 with one....lol jk

ShockingCanada 03-03-2008 10:38 AM

depends on how many amps you plan to run but back in the day people in SS 1-2 were running like 32 batts

johnw 03-03-2008 10:41 AM

Thats right Nick had 20 in SS1-2

So that means Nick had 10. He was using 8 volts. Amps are more efficient also i would think. I guess we will see.

audiocustoms85 03-03-2008 11:26 AM

Last year I had 24 8 volt batts in SS 1-2 so in reality I only had 12 batts and never had a voltage problem

Your right he had (10) 16 volt PAIRS each PAIR about 2.5x the size of each Kinetic....lol

Father Yuli 03-03-2008 11:28 AM

nice batteries richard. are they for a 12 or a 16v set up?

NTOXKTD 03-03-2008 11:33 AM

I guess we will see. If there is an issue i can save some money on my back doors and buy more battaries.

Father Yuli 03-03-2008 11:52 AM

what are you doing with these? are they for sale or are you using them?

ShockingCanada 03-03-2008 12:14 PM

and he was running 4 2000xs...people are running 8 amps that are doing like 7000wrms per amp now lol. The increase in efficiency with new amps may be like 20% but since the amps are putting out like 250% more power the draw will still be WAY more

Father Yuli 03-03-2008 12:45 PM

where are these batteries going into?

NTOXKTD 03-03-2008 12:52 PM

Alright guys you are all the best. I guess we will see what happens.

You will have to wait until the Ontario triple.

PsychoAcoustics Canada 03-03-2008 12:55 PM

they are going into my neon, im gonna run super street stock extreme A NW

Father Yuli 03-03-2008 12:59 PM

why do we need to wait till the ontario tripple? richard dont tell me you bought all these batteries to put into a car that will only attend 1 show, barely break 150 and will have no plans to attend finals?

im just saying, i hope you guys do better than you did last year.

NTOXKTD 03-03-2008 01:05 PM

Last year I put no time into it. Too busy at the house. This year the minimum score is going to be 160 first time out. I am now taking bets. Any takers. There may be a new car being used. Still 160 is the minimum.

Father Yuli 03-03-2008 01:07 PM

good to hear.

ShockingCanada 03-03-2008 02:30 PM

well since its super street I am sure you will have no problem breaking a 160 with whatever car you decide to use and I look forward to seeing it

MTA 03-03-2008 02:39 PM

im saying 159.9dB just because its Richard and everything will light up in smoke and shoot flames therefore not allowing him once again to break 160 :) hehhe

sorry Rich... I had to

good luck I hope u do finally show a good number
Lemme know if u need some design help

Father Yuli 03-03-2008 02:40 PM

i need some design help. is it free?

liv2ride 03-03-2008 03:20 PM

holy batteries batman

Mr.American Bass 03-03-2008 04:11 PM

Bro the only way you will hit a 160 is if you buy a Panda but i stii doubt it or if these people build it.

Nick Cimino

Peter Mta

John W

Tim Jones

Or Team Fob using a street setup in ss on 18v with more power.

Good luck and try not to blow things up this year and put up a number.

P.s my total currnet draw in my car was 1700 amps with 10 pairs of batts 6v and 8v wich is 14v and my total amphour per pair was over 200 what is the amphour per 1 of those batts?

AMP 03-03-2008 07:18 PM

I can see a 160...

I can see these batts energizing a certain bunny!

sx4life 03-03-2008 07:23 PM

pfff sure a 160 could be done in a neon.... PANDA LOL gay!

AMP 03-03-2008 07:33 PM

I know where the batts are going... answer goes to highest bidder...

AMP 03-03-2008 07:38 PM

Clues...

Minimum 160
Super Street
Ontario

Mat-Romain 03-03-2008 07:38 PM
