SPL Competition



Class A: 1-160 sq. in.

Class B: 161-260 sq. in.

Class C: 261+ sq. in.

Class D: Wall Class



Maximum of total amplifier wattage allowed is 2000 watts RMS. Ruling will be done by the manufacturer’s highest RMS rating and/or CEA rating at 12.5 volts.
Equipment must be available through standard retail channels for resale to the general public.
All equipment must remain behind the “b” pillar. Enclosures over 25" will compete under Class D.


I.C.E. Competition



In Car Entertainment



Vehicles will be judged on Stereo System and Interior Appearance, Creativity and Safety.



Fee:

SPL: $15.00

ICE: $10.00

Both: $20.00



All proceeds will go to the United Way.

 

Sounds like a great comp I would love something like this to take place closer to my way (Burlington Oakville area) I know that if advertised right there would be many first time competitors (myself included)

 

lol amp wise what if you had 2 amps under the seats. its in front of the b pillar ( meant for a stealth install ) that would suck that you cant compete.. y is that rule applyed anyway??

 

The rule is there so people don't put speakers/walls 6" away from the mic/sensor.

 

Nice catch Mat. If your box is more than 25', your vehicle is too damn big to compete.

I have been asked to do this show with a format as such. If these shows go well, we will have the support to bring LCS back in 2010. I will later be in touch with the other orgs to get them all involved.

 

I'd love to be there for this show. Hell I'd love to compete in it! 147.6 on a clarion 1500 watt amp! Lol. Ill be down in tulsa tho. Good luck guys I know this will be a hit!

u guys do know that no one is going to do any of those things, that's just your imagination running wild.

 

So anything over 2000wrms is in class D???? If so thats ridiculous and totally unfair.....And if you can't buy the sub i run in store's does that mean i can't compete at all? Garbage!!!! I run one TFone and One AB 500.1... Where do i fit in ?
