Perhaps then it should be re-written to include more accurate facts. Perfect SQ is not what a pefect RTA score makes. Meh, whichever. Was always curious about that write-up since I first saw it. Nice install though. Did it get showcased at A&B Sound at all? I remember seeing a silver Civic like that at the Abby A&B once on the sales floor. Had a turbo I believe though.

^^^Might have been but I don't think so. It did have a turbo at one time but it was removed before the install of the last system went in.

I remember running into an East indian guy (I think) that had bought that car in the late 90's. He was still running all of the same gear as well.

Ohh...memories...
The SC you are remembering is the one that 2001 did in Langley. AVI subs, LP amps, Focal drivers. Gord Springgay put it in, Darren Santowski owned it.

Yea, Joe that's the one! Did you help Jimmy tune it before going to Dallas?

Yes!..... to some degree.. Also I remember suggesting adding tweeters in the pillers, so It would help the edge of lt/rt of the souhdstage from being lower then the center. And high frequency from being blocked by the judges. But I didn't think they were totally dialed in tho.....

I heard Jimmy moved to Hong Kong..... is that true?

Yes, Jimmy took a leap of faith & now works for Encrust Customs in Hong Kong. He already got featured in a magazine over there!
He has e-mailed me a couple of times since leaving but maybe you could try him through their web site if you want:

http://www.encrustcustoms.com/interface/index.asp

His girlfriend stayed behind to keep his condo up & his car safe (a supercharged 5.0 Mustang gets expensive when gas costs $12.00 per litre!).

That's quite a website...... I didn't know there's market for performance & high-end toys over there. Well..... thats great! I guess I should maybe fly over there and check it out.....

Thanks for the info... I'll try to contact Jimmy from there.

Is that $12.00/litre in HK money or Cdn?
