This was a great show had 32 SPL competitors. Some amature and some veterans came out. Most of the classes were close except for Yuli in the 2 sub class but even then he won by only 2 db. Best run of the day has to go to 2 runs first in the 1 sub Class Keyur Patel vs Ian Lafirst both burped and Keyur was up 144.7 to 144.4 then Ian burped again and topped Keyur with a 144.8 Keyur with about 10 or so seconds to go. Then in a last ditch effort Keyur burped again with time running out and with 1 second to go up popped a 145.1 to beat out Ian's 144.8.
The other run would be the very last run of the day. Jeff Gould vs Pat Dimarco. This was a David and Goliath match up as it pitted a Ford Excursion against a Honda Civic. They both started off with 142's then Pat Dimarco came on strong with a 143.7 then Jeff found a way to up his score to a 143.8 only .1 db higher! 15 seconds were left. Then in a blink of an eye poeple started pileing on the vehicles Yuli with the nimbleness of a mountain goat scaled the excursion in a matter of what could only have been a couple of seconds to get up on the windshield. In the next 10 seconds both vehicle must have burped off a combined 10-12 burps all the while Jeff in his vehicle was fanning his passenger side visor to try to pull away from Pat. Pat gave everything his civic had to offer but he could not eclipse that .1 db that he was behind. With all 15 woofers hot, both vehicles batteries drained the Excursions visor somewaht damaged and Jeff's arm tired, Goliath had beaten David in the battle of the 5+ sub class. Will we see this historic battle in the near future? Only time will tell.
All in all there was a great crowd watching and interacting. And even though it was sweltering hot out side a good time was had by all.

i liked the guy who was operating the kaption demo vehicle and he kept getting shocked when he was rewiring his subs while burping.
