aaaaaaaactually, that song came out in 82, whereas the song considered to be the first rap song was rappers delight by the sugar hill gang,which came out in 79. you could even argue that blondie's rapture from 1980 was the first since it reached commercial success. of course this all depends on your definition of rapping. if you consider it talking then you have to i guess go with walk on the wild side by lou reed from 1974. if instead you consider it to be talking about struggles with some sort of wordplay or advanced rhyming technique, you could say bob dylan put out the first rap song in 1965 with subterranean homesick blues.

Also, there were a alot of blues players that "rapped" their songs long before 1965. 
I'm just old enough to remember the 70's, and the 80's and remember when all these songs first came out.

hahaha smif-n-wessun, I remember that song. and Outkast, dope as always. the Mobb Deep however...meh. the track is ok, and Above the Rim was a good movie lol, but first off I think Quiet Storm was their best song, or Eye for an Eye, but since I heard that guy Tru Life punked these guys, they've sorta fell off for me.
and I'm not that young lol, I still remember watching Master T every saturday on DaMix and watching Rap City every night, and the BET Rap City when we first started getting that up here. I will admit I was listening to a lot of reggae and old rock thanks to my dad, but I remember my early days of Hip Hop too. I'd play it a lot more if it had better bass lines, but every now and then I bump this old stuff too. going back to your greatest song of all time, I think this trumps it
