Recently moved to North Bay Ontario (Aug 08) - closest good car audio shop?
Hi Guys/Gals,
I recently moved to North Bay, Ontario from the west coast and was wondering if you could direct me to a decent car audio shop within a 3 hour drive? I went into a local shop and was pretty much ridiculed for running JL audio (amps) (A1800 D Class and A4300), Infinity components (perfect series) and Alpine Electronics (IDA-X001, 6 Disc Changer, and KCA410C (multip aux), and dual Alpine Type S subs in sealed Q logic enclosures) as apparently it all comes from the same distributor. ..Sigh.. maybe part of my problem was inquiring about the JL Audio TW5's.
Yes...I understand my gear is not considered high end but I am pretty happy with it..due to being on a budget. I had gone into the local "highend" shop to inquire as to what they carried and was considering upgrading my subs to a better shallow mount system. (I am behind the seat of a 96 F350 crew cab truck). I have wee ones so I need to keep the space available for them in the rear seat
After that I decided that I would be purchasing elsewhere and not giving a dime to that shop. Any thoughts/suggestions?
Cheers,
Matt

Hey Matt,
I'm orginally from North Bay but I moved to Toronto. I would take the drive to Toronto to get some work done. Selective Sounds worked on my stereo and it's awesome! Love the work. If you have any other questions let me know. I am also organizing a car show in North Bay on labour day weekend with Cash prizes. Facebook me or add me to msn (chickile@hotmail.com)
