Got my dates mixed up, no box yet means no competition for me

 

Me neither.. I spent all my extra time into a friends sub box which is super loud - but will not be competeting..

I will be at the show for moral support.. paybe even enter using my prefab.. Im Curious to see the difference of the TL and AC mics.. as I know what i can do on the TL..

 

they are very close. Last year at the kingston iasca/dbdrag event, I was exactly .9 higher on the audiocontrol on each of my runs.

 

How can you judge SQ just from a meter anyway, the meter is only good for the RTA portion, you still need to do it by ear and if you dont then what the point?

Yea any pics ? I heard ppl hit lower than they usually do.

 

People hit lower cause they used the pressure mic instead of the old AC mic..

I was 2.5 DB Higher..

I competed.. Had a blast.. didn't take any pictures though..

 

I competed for my first time ever
and took 2nd place in the class "C" 500watts plus
@ 146db's

1st place was 1db higher at 147db

Now its time to upgrade the power (more batteries)
and aim for the 150 mark [img]smile.gif[/img]

sucks when someone beats u by 1 dB doesnt it? lol Ive seen it happen to others its a kicker. Its worse when its a girl tho [img]tongue.gif[/img]
