I was planning on going, but my sub blew up, and all i had to replace it atm was either 2 jensen 12's that are close to 10 years old, or a single audibling, in a pr box tuned to like 25hz. neither worth measuring. i bet the jensens are close to 140 though. they peak at like 55hz in the box they are in. lol. sound like crap though. i miss my maw 15 already. cant wait till it comes back, and i have an amp to run it fully.

 

Nick you know why i like you? Because in every post you make you are sure to gives a throw back to like 2001-2002 spl era, it's inveitable.

well all i got to say is the soon to be wife gave me a choice the night before, the wedding plans and set up or the show.(but she good at that). So i had no choice

 

Ok everyone, Nick wasn't going to say this but I am.

Nick convinced his boss to put on 3 - 1x events and 1 - 3x event. His boss has never been or hosted an event before.

Nick's boss obviously invested a large amount of money to host 3 singles and a triple. (Several thousand)

When there is a low turnout for a 1x, Nick and his boss are the ones who pay the price. Nick's boss obviously isn't too happy when 10-15 people show up to a show which 20+ normally show up.

Nick's boss was considering canceling the 3x as he didn't know if he should be investing this much money into something which not too many people showed up for.

So with this much time and money invested I understand why Nick and his boss aren't happy when "regulars" do not come out to these shows.


Nick is a little verbal at times and offensive but I understand why he gets frustrated over this.

 

So in retrospect his boss is dishing out the $$ where he don't know mutch about the whole SPL thing and Nick taking heat for the low turn out and the boss is thinking where if people don't show up when it cost 20$ why will they show when it cost alot more. Can see Nick point and his Boss's point alot more clearly now.
