Yes that is illigal or how ever you spell that crazy word. Same basic rule as the B pillar, if you box moves in front during the burp you are dqed. You would think people knew the rules by now. I have only competed for 9 years not seriously but still i know the rules. Whether it hurts the score or not you must obey the rules correct?

No normally we just make you run again if the seat falls forward but seriously you would have to be pretty damn loud to be tossing around a seat back that is propped up to stay still. Just leave the seat upright and slide it forward to the 30"

You might wanna check the rules again. this only applies to street a,b,c, and max.

Trust me your seat shouldn't be moving once it is locked into place, unless that is, the mechanism which locks your back rest is broken. You are not moving enough air to break that lock. No one in street in north america is moving enough air to break that lock which holds the back rest in place.

He can't he'll either be too close or too far. Believe I've tried it. The rex is not capable of being 30" from the sensor. Also, I do believe that it is the furthest point from the front of the seat not the back.

When I say seat back I mean the seat back, not the back side of the seat back.

Sorry Don, Luke, as for your passener seat sitting at 30", you need to use your imagination. spl inc's, jesse's, and my rex all sit 30" from the sensor. Be creative.
