While Matt was busy on the amp rack, I got started on the sub box.

It started with the idea of a couple ports with the sub in the middle kinda pointing up.

Toss a bit of of fabris over it to get an idea of what it'll look like.

The secret to successful fibreglassing is to buy the ugliest fabric you can find.

This **** was bought from Walmart and was obviously some sort of fat woman's spandex material.

The ugliest material is by far the most effective. Plus it was in th ebargain bin for just $1.50 a meter. 2 birds with 1 stone batman.

A little known secret to keeping your **** from getting wrecked is to lay a thin sheet of plexi on your tool box and use it as a bench.

Note how it fits good.
The key to getting it to fit good is to try and jam it in there with enough force that the plexy snaps on one side or another (the left side), then after actually using your brain, go and sand it down until it slides in with ease.

When you start to fibreglass your material, you should always ensure that you have the proper tools for the job, especially a sufficient mixing stick.

Well, I guess that'll have to do for now little piggy.

I think, however, we should show a couple shots of the gorgeous as Denver sub going there.

Perhaps we'll have a few more shots later this week on the project progress. Actually, we'd better have a few more shots since we set a time limit on this little project of two weeks to make room for the more serious and important projects.
