But like I said earlier... make sure you have the power to back up the sub.

I would grab an Fi Q ... power it by almost any 1500 watt rms amp ... this will sound amazing and with that much power beat the crap outta your kidneys... but I definatelly would not tune down to 33Hz or a 3.5 cu.ft box... it will not have any control in that big of a box... sealed I wouldnt go over 2-2.5 max
your cars interior gain will amplify the lower octave naturally... and in the smaller box it will still give you the nice kick you're after
btw... tuning a sealed box to 33hz will require a larger than 3.5cu ft

... so which ones the better size?? any thirds???
i searched fi q and this came up. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/index.php?/topic/7386-fi-q-15-review-and-numbers-lots-of-pics/
a guy has it in a 4 cu ft box at 30 hz, hit 145 db. isnt a 2-2.5 gonna be too small?? the smaller it is does that mean the less db ill be able to hit?

size does not matter on SPL... when dealing with sealed enclosures... the enclosure controls the tuning .. big = low bass but sloppy ... small= tight and hard hitting but controlled
so depending on your musical taste is what size of box you build...sometimes its good to over build the box and fill it things like chunks of 2x4's too take up space to see what sound you like best... just make sure to screw them down or you will hear all the rattle inside the box... once you found the sound youre after you can build a new box or simply attach all ur 2x4's permanently with glue and screws

4 cubic foot PORTED enclosure and a 4 cubic foot SEALED enclosure are two different things.
I was suggesting a PORTED enclosure
