dont trust anything you here in a store totally misleading and will never sound the same once put in a car

well I have to say you have a point and I also disagree to a point.
if set up wrong in the store or set up wrong in your car you are right, even set up the same there can be a difference, but listening to them live is the only way to have a vague clue how the driver sounds prior to putting it in your car. Some things demo very well others don't so a careful audition is important and you can identify what you really like and what you really dislike and go from there. By going with specifications you are left guessing.
