Guys.

I have never asked for receipts. Basically what that rule is there for is if someone came up to us and put in a official complaint. The complaint being that someone is not in the class where they should be. There are many scenarios to which that can happen.

AND I am not talking about the person who recieved birthday gifts. I am talking about the competitors who know they have gotten free stuff or are sponsored and still decide to compete in lower classes.

Then it would be my responsibility to investigate and ask for proper documentation.

All IASCA is trying to do is keep a fair playing field.

ic, thats ok, so i can still compete in stock since i bought my stuff used and i dont have any receipts? Its pretty obvious these days that manufacturers dont give away free gear, unless your richard wade and have sweet ***'d doors :P. Heres something pertaining to free gear tho, what if it was a prize? A prize that was sponsored by an manufacturer, but wasnt specifically given to you by them as sponsorship, but you won it? And george, you know that wives, and gf's sometimes will surprise you with that something youve been drooling over. My point to that was a kid comes in with a 1000 watt amp he got for a present, ofcourse he doesnt have any receipts, and the kid doesnt fit in rookie for whatever reason.

If the prize was available to anybody, which normally they are u dont need to compete in a higher class if u win it.

Really at any competition it comes down to honesty and integrity. Were all out there to have fun but like I said before there are the occassional bad apples who decided they have to bend the rules to win. These bad apples are the reasons for some of the rules we have today in any organization.

From NASCAR having to weigh each car at end of the race or test the fuel to catch the cheats or pro sports where athletes are tested for performance enhancing drugs. IASCA, DB, Meca, etc are no different.

But I have to be honest I have been all over the World doing events and I have only had a couple of problems with people being in the wrong class for the wrong reasons. But overall I find that the sport we love and the people(competitors) who are involved are top notch and are there to have fun.

Three batteries in total are allowed in Stock Pro. This includes the vehicles main battery.
