I know, I know... I don't mean cheating in a bad way,
that was what was so impressive about kevins neon, all in the trunk... and he could fold up the seats to put the rug rats in (if he had any??)
I think that it is really cool when we see numbers out of stuff that shouldn't throw big SPL. I had a guy 2 years ago come to me with a system hitting 141.5 and a week latter at another show was hitting 146, same car, same gear, changed his boxes and positioning, there should be prizes for the most db gain in a week???

wont be street b either bill, just gonna say that the single twelve doing 148 is quite impressive but it is my goal to smash that number and maybe become closer to that loudest trunk car in na. Tested my stuff last night and lets just say its even louder then it was on saturday lol.

what happened to street stock??? I thought you were afraid of losing in the grown-up classes?? I am glad to hear you changed your mind to come and play with the rest of us, and look forward to seeing you at more than one event this year..

more then one event i will try, just hard with family and work to get out and travel the k's to some of these shows. I work odd days and usually have over night notice that I am off to work the next morning. Losing dont scare me, I have lost to you and I didnt cry about it. For me any gain of knowledge or any gain in score is my victory. I was planning to run street stock this year so i could get a car properly built threw out the year and finally have something worth trying to compete against guys with spray foamed cars, and deadner and the list goes on of things i dont have that guy like you do have. I have come to shows seen what works and met people that give me suggestions and now I am using that in my own car and we will see what I can do this year.

that is awesome news!!!

I was in your shoes at one point. My rookie year, my system was classified in "pro" classes(with a 135db on the RTA), so I never got the chance to do the rookie class thing. I don't work at a shop, and never have, our sponsor is for gear and such, not for working on my rides, I do ALL that on my own. NOBODY helped us out at all until we hit close to 150's and after we were at almost every show for 2 years straight.

If you keep your nose to the grind, the help WILL come, doors will open, and things get a little easier every year. hopefully you can make it out to a few more events, even as a spectator you still seem to learn a little something new each show.
