Cactus Sounds reports that the 5KW will produce 14,900W @ 2ohms 18V!! JESUS!!! Soooo, they're Citrates? Or he got an Atomic?

Either way, 2 of them in one vehicle .... minimum power spec is 3,400 rms @ 1 ohm 12V. Thats over 7,000 rms minimum between the two.

I don't know Matt ... The pictures look real to me. Not to mention the web site. There is actually a Team Cactus 7KW that reportedly puts out 18,000 RMS @ 2 ohms 18V.

hey Paul it doesnt work exactly like that in real life.

But these are some good amps. I got 6300 rms out of a pair of mine.

When your battery is limited, the more power you add the less you will actually gain.

With one amp I was getting around 4000 rms with a single battery and voltage stayin over 11.5 volts.

but with two amps i got 6300 rms with voltage dropping into the 10's.

this was done with car off ofcourse.

I realize there is a huge dip in voltage and RMS power when a "mythical amp" like this draws, but if you could manage to keep it at 18V would it really put out that kind of power? Or even 16V? Not that the power you are getting out of them is that bad. SOOO, YULI just got louder?????

lol no man, i was louder with these back in 2007 and 2008. If i was still competing i'd get something bigger. these are good starter amps tho.

i dont know if these are the amps you'd wanna go with on a 16v set up, but yah, they would really make that power. or something close to it.

Holy .... You'd need a wall of subs for them .... what did you use to run (subs) when you had them?
