agreed. Best thing to do is to see what you can do. see a lawyer and go from there. if you got a new license issued to you when you got it back, then they don't have a leg to stand on. it usually takes the police computers a couple days to catch up with icbc, regaurdless, I'd definatly be taking some legal action if I were you.....

 

Just when I thought your story couldn't get any better... (or worse, depending how you view it!). I feel for you though; best of luck in sorting this out and getting your life back on track. Perhaps if your girlfriend and company understood the situation in its entirety they would change their perspective - have you fully explained yourself?

This certainly does not sound like your fault in any manner and I don't see why you would be treated as such if people knew what was up.

well the GF was there through him not having his license and him getting it back so i thought shed be a bit more understanding about this... but then again what the hell do i know...

well i just got off the phone with the head office for icbc and it was a 25 minute conversation and the end result is there is absolutely no flaw in my lisence at all... its valid and there is no prohibition or anything they said i she be getting after the police and the courts they are mailing me off all the proof and information.... i left a message with my lawyers secretary saying i want to file a suit against anyone and everyone i can over this... as for my now ex gf her and her parents are stupid they dont understand... i mean they say ya i know you were supposed to have your lisence and its not your fault but you still got arrested there for you cant come around and you have to have permission and ect. to see your kid... like wtf... k so they say "we know its not your fault but you still got arrested" how the hell does that make sense??? i dont know someone is getting it for sure... and if my lawyer isnt going to try to take them all for what its worth ill call every lawyer around until i find one that will... it sounds like hes on board though... so i guess only time will tell.

 

It is too bad that your GF doesn't understand. I hope your lawyer takes everyone for everything they have.
