But to only show off your rides because you want to win a trophy and get a few points is missing the "POINT" of why we do what we do. Bragging rights are all subjectual anyway.
Just my two cents.

Sorry to quote the first post of the thread but it just fits all to well i think,Check the sig ..... since then we have added a 65' Windsor to the collection and to date we have won 1 .... yes ONE trophy after dozens of shows(and of course it was the old mans Gremmy)...... but we still go why? because its the expierence......... You might not win the trophy but who cares , you have people coming up sayin " OH WOW i had one of these when i was a kid" thats better than any reward imo..

while ago we park the PC AMX(1 of like 20 registered(originals) in NorthAmerica) beside a Ford THUNDERBOLT like ffs? wtf might aswell drive home right on sight.......

not car audio related but same principle. i think.

heh post # 351(ford).... a step better than 350(chevy) but still greasy...........

We just finished our USACi comp yesterday, and I must say, from all the comments, it was a great day. The person who won the SQ portion of the show was estatic, with his "stock" 06' Chev Silverado. The guy who won was DJ ing the car show and there were over 140 cars, plus almost 20 competitors in USACi. No one cared about points, and no one whined about the trophies. All in All I was very happy with the way things went on. The point of this thread was not to piss anyone off, it was only to let those who don't normally want to come to shows because they're to far away, or I can't be bothered if points arn't involved to understand that without the support, car shows and sound offs won't survive...although with this weekends turnout I am glad that the die hard car lovers still come regardless of the size of the prize....
