The only comment that I have is: Now not to sound like a jerk but, really who are you to question Peters abilities??? I have been competeing with him for years and he has always been in the tops in Canada. And yes 9 times out of 10 he uses Audiobahn so what. If it is not good equipment and he is still putting up the numbers with it that he does I would say that speaks volumes about his abilities and you have no right to question him. Not to sound like a jack *** but if you want to hate on equipment I can deal with that, but dont hate on a guy that is truely a world class competitor because of his choice of gear.

Of course... now the question has to be asked though.

How well would he have done with some "better" equipment.

I've seen Peters tests, I'm sure he'd do well no matter what he used.

What I was also trying to get across is that equipment is nothing without install. You can take almost any equipment and if thought through properly and installed right you can do stupid things and big numbers with low end gear.

How many people remember this show???
http://www.termpro.com/asp/eventresults3.asp

We had a car in SS 5+ with 8 12's and 2 Visonik V900's with 2 12 volts and did a 151.7. The woofers that are in it RETAIL for $40 each, and the car was built as a daily pounder.

Equipment means nothing without install.

thanx Chris...

and YES...install is EVERYTHING...
for ****s and giggles I should see what I can hit using Pyramid
I remember taking an Xsite 300 watt DVC 12" sub and puttign it in my Isuzu Trooper last year with a JBL 1200.1 amp and hitting 155dB
that sub held up didnt smell and still hit the number over and over...not bad for something that only has 0.28" xmax
