I just got home. 9:30ish
Man what a fun show. Bst show I've been too.
Hats off to Rick and Autotemp.
Show did drag on a bit. Oh well.
The best thing by far was the "CAR". I must of spent 15$ hitting that thing.
Mics were a little high, thats ok because I can say I hit 150db
What to do with my new/old hifonics 300 watt sub?
I have decided that my box is coming out and a wall is near.

i dunno, personally i wont be braggin about doin a 147.9 with 2 100$ 12s gettin less then 120 watts each, cus i know the mics were high, its kinda like saying u ran a 10 second quarter mile when the track was only 1/8th mile....
long as everyone was the 8 or so DB high as far as placing is concerned it was fair, but like i said, i dont count the scores as my highest to date.
like the mustang that jumped from a 146 to a 160??? then back down to a 147.5.....
but like i said thats just my opinion, i can laugh at the fact that i scored as high with a >500$ setup as i did with logans pair of minis on a bd1000..... RIIIIGHT

for averybody that attended the show you all made it possible to run a better show than last year
and i look forward to seeing you guys at the other shows as well as next years autotemp event
if any of you guys have any questions about the show feel free to ask.
as for the mic weeeell it's always to low or to high dont think ive ever heard anyone say ahhh thats just right!

all you ppl that are complaining of the mics being high will be quite surprised that the scores will be comparable (maybe +.5-1 db)to the visions show in calgary on the 10th(recently calibrated@ red deer)come and see,show your support for visions putting on these shows,and please come to the show in spruce grove(aug 9th)to show Ray & all the crew at F/X audio your apreciation [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img] , without guys like them, our hopes of being invited to worlds would not be possible....please remember, people do not have to hold these events and have family/etc. that they could spend their precious time with , so lets show them that we care...lets do it!!!!
