didn't put out that much but it did good power considering it was at1ohm

1 Ohm was what the amp saw, or each board?

(I assume that because it's internally strapped that the impedance is cut in 1/2?)

i think you are right about the inside of that amp

1 ohm strapped so 0.5 per board. Impedance rose to 4.8 ohms voltage dropped to 10.7 the amp made good power it is VERY efficient considering the output and voltage drop on a odyssey 1750

Damn... that's insane for such a high impedance rise and voltage drop.

That's one hell of an amp you've got there!
