Yep, was a blast Tyler, just wish we coulda had more time to hang out...

I went to Timmy's after the rollin, but I think I beat everybody there, sat there for a while, got impatient and left. Picked up a Peter's burger (yum) down on 16th Ave. and headed home for the night.

My thanks go out to all too, and especially to Rob, for walking up and asking what I was doing when I was preparing for a second run in the Fun SPL competition...

"Well I figured I'd stick the mike on the side of the train battery there and then point the speaker cone right at it."

"No no," he said, "Just pull your port plug, stick the mike in the bottom of the port, and play your peak tone for regular competition."

"Oh, okay."

And I did it, hit 164.0 and took first place, beating Rob and everyone else. eheheheheeeeeee.... That was awesome!

Course then, that guy that had 12,000 watts pumping into that one sub decided to go, and took first place from me... ehehee... ah well.

SS 1-2 NW was great, I only wish there coulda been more of us than just Aaron and I. Never thought I could get 144.8 outta my van for the life of me... I thought the train batteries would help a bit, but they sure helped a lot! Dialing in my amp properlly and the train batteries stuck another 3db onto the 141ish I hit last Monday...

Aaron with his PVC pipe and duct tape idea was awesome though... 148.? was very unexpected, good job! I hope you DO realize I'll be copying that idea before my next show... since I won't have the train batteries anymore I'll have to compensate somehow...

I suppose you (Aaron) & I will meet again, but with normal battery setups, in the near future. Shall be interesting to see how close that is eh... Especially if you run your box as is and I add the PVC idea to mine...

But again, 144.8 in my cavernous van, with just one sub, and only a 1200 watt amp (almost EVERYone in the mid 140's seems to use at least 2000) was totally unexpected, and very satisfying! Thanks to all!
