Thank You FO SPL

FO SPL has done an amazing job this 2009 SPL season. Don, Mike and I'm not sure who else have dedicated alot of their timie, efforts and money to be able to put on some of the best SPL events in the last 3-4 years.

All SPL guys in Southern Ontario could not be any happier to have you as our judging team this season. You've put on shows when competitors wanted them and in places most people had no problem traveling to. Not to mention, everyone loves the reccession pricing for multi point events!

This past season you have ran a series of single and multi point events. The average attandace for singles was 35 people, and 33 for multies (yes, i went and did the math). People keep coming back again and again to participate in your events . Competitors and spectators enjoy a good, smoothly ran show, and that is exactly how you do them.

It is never a dull moment with you, from towers faling on people's heads to Don telling someone to "get the fukk out from underneath the tent", we love all of it.

Keep up the good work and thanks again for the best SPL season since 2004.

Thanks guys. This is why we do it and why we will continue to represent eastern canada as YOUR db drag judges. We look forward to another year of tent pirates, attacking light towers, and most importantly lots of SPL!

As another newbie to the competition scene this year I have to say I was welcomed and made to feel part of the group in a very short time. Help from judges and organizers, as well as other competitors made it a year to remember for sure. Very much looking forward to next year. Just found out I will not be working Sundays anymore. Next year is going to be a blast. I predict a 129.9 Bassrace dominance next year. Ya Ya bring it on Myles. LOL Thanks to Don, Mike, Yuli, and all the others who helped me out and made a newbie feel welcome.

I wasn't involved too much this season (competitively) but I was at a lot of the events and I gotta agree with everything that's been said thus far.
I can only imagine the results if the result side of things was in the hands of someone else ... and I don't want anyone to take that the wrong way, because I don't know these other judges enough to say anything good or bad ... but all I'm saying is, I'm happy with what and who we've got.

But yeah, well done all around. If FO SPL is involved, you know it's the real deal.

Another newbie (though I talk smack like I've been doin it for years), and honestly it was some of the best fun I've had with my pants on. Don, you and the FO SPL team did an awesome job as far as I'm concerned. Met some cool guys, Yuli, Dave, Joell, Nick, Fred...ok so like 6 guys. Still, good times, except when I was losing to Don. I've even got people excited for next year so they can start coming to shows and competing, we'll see again in a few months, but there is some definite promise. I honestly can't wait for the next round of shows to begin.

Oh and Nick...not in your wildest dreams bud. You might get the first show if I don't get a chance to practice by then. Or depending on the new setup I might go for 139.9, but that depends on whether or not I have enough competition (not that there was any for me this season in 129.9 )
