Is there anybody in Edmonton with a table saw I could come and use?
What I used to do is go to Home Depot and give them the specs to get the MDF cut. The mongoloids that worked the saw there claimed they knew what they were doing. In the end a lot of the pieces were always 1-3mm off.
Next, after I was sick of the Home Depot people pissing me off I used a straight piece of MDF as a guide and I just cut it in my backyard with a circular saw. This is tedious and takes a bit of time to line up properly so that you get uniform cuts. My neighbours were getting pissed off too.
I got a couple boxes to cut up the basic pieces and I'm wondering if I could come down and use somebody's table saw for a bit... maybe in exchange for some beer or something...
