Anybody heard anything about a sanctioned (I was told by Josh Campbell anyways) dBDrag happening on July 17th in Blairmore? I have heard no info as of yet other than what Josh had told me May 15th in Calgary and was wondering if I should take the day off of work or not.

Thanks

-Rick

You know, I was getting jumpy until I realized "Valley" was such a vague word in Western Canada.

This is Josh's GF here, he's been really busy lately so I have been doing all his car stuff.

Yeah there is probably going to be a dB drag here in the Pass on July 16th for Thunder in The Valley. That's on Friday night. We just have to confirm things with the judge we are getting to do it. He has to gets some things sorted outfirst, but we will know for sure this week sometime; hopefully tomorrow. I already got the tropies for it and stuff. It will probably be at around 6:00 that night. We were going to have it on saturday the 17th, but I work all day and there is way too much going on here. That night there is going to be a big concert and fireworks. People come from all over for Thunder in the Valley. It's a big thing so we thought it would be a great time to host a comp. But I will keep you guys posted. I'll know soon for sure though.

I think we will have it on Friday because on Saturday there is a parade, a concert, a mud bog, and of course the fireworks along with some other events.

If the general concensus is to have it on Saturday night though, I could look into that as well.

Everything will be sorted out by the end of the week though.

Just found out that I will be needing one of the new termlab sensors in order to hold the comp, so if I can get ahold of one of those from someone, the show will be at 5:00 on Saturday, July 17.
