TREO Engineering Canada Presents Toronto's FREE Series of DBDrag's for the Spring/Summer/Fall of 2006.

We're still working out the details, but here is what we have going .... some things may change, be deleted or added.

All Trophies, Prizes and cash$ quoted below are for EVERY show (4 shows total)!!!

June 24th @ Concepts on Wheels (Rain Date: June 25th)
Aug 5th @ Concepts on Wheels (Rain Date: Aug 6th)
Sept 5th @ Concepts on Wheels (Rain Date: Sept 6th)

Free Tweak and Tune from 10am-12pm.

dB Drag Competition (Starts at 12pm):
Sanctioned Events (1x and maybe 2x)
1st thru 5th Trophies for Street A, B AND C
1st Place Trophy = 32", 2-Post Trophy
2nd Place Trophy = 26", 1-Post Trophy
3rd Place Trophy = 20", 1-Post Trophy
4th Place Trophy = 16", 1-Post Trophy
5th Place Trophy = 12", 1-Post Trophy

In conjunction with the dBDrag, we're going to be running a Sound Off, unsanctioned.
Sound Off:
FREE to Enter
2 pairs of Judges judge each car: Each car judged twice by each PAIR of judges.
Judged on Sound Quality and Safety as per Matt Gordash’s rules and Dave MacKinnon’s CD.
2 Classes: Beginner and Advanced
2 Sub-Classes: 1 channel – 4 channel Amplification, 4 channel+ amplification
Prize Layout:
1st Place: Beginner: 1 channel – 4 channel Amplification
$Cash + Prize
1st Place: Beginner: 4 channel+ amplification
$Cash + Prize
1st Place: Advanced: 1 channel – 4 channel Amplification
$Cash + Prize
1st Place: Advanced: 4 channel+ amplification

People’s Choice Competition:
1st Place: $Cash + Prize
2nd Place: Prize
3rd Place: Prize

The reason why we're not giving away as many prizes and cash $ to the dBDrag competitors is because we're offering the the Sanctioned Events as a Free Event, plus we're going to give away trophies.

It's great to see some support out east! Thanks Mark and Treo!!

 

This is going to be really really cool stuff. I hope to see everyone out. It will definitely be worth your time to attend these events. We're working on some other stuff as well. So stay tuned. People that are passionate about car audio should have a place to go and have fun........... and that's where were going with these events.

i'm a bit new to this..but what's the people's choice event?what does it consist of?

 

People's choice will be a voting0based award for Best of Show ... tricked out rides, overall best car from the show-and-shine aspect of the show ... nothing to do with dbdrag.
