ok but what if i compete with one car all yr... and show up at your show with another car...... is that going to be ok? i plan on competing with the yellow splq civic all yr, but will bring out both cars to the finals, but i wont have the black civic ready until mid aug.. can i still compete with it,as i have attended numerous shows with the yellow car?

let me ask you all this.......if in fact we were going to have another look at a different way of qualifying...lets say 2 shows rather than 3...say for the alberta guys...the calgary show and the castlegar/cranbrook show should be easy enough, most of you go anyway to castlegar and calgary is in your backyard............... and for the bc guys there is a crapile that are availavble to you so making 2 shows should be easy as pie......if im thinking wrong please let me know

So I am clear - a prospective finalist will have to be a registered competitor and compete in ANY 3(or2) USACi, IASCA, dBdrag, or DaveSQ show anywhere? eg. Someone from Manitoba can compete in 3 registered shows out there and be allowed at the Western Canadian Finals.
OR do they have to compete in any 3(or2) of YOUR or JAMES shows?
The first sounds easier for the Alberta guys since any AB dealer could then hold a show and it would count towards finals.

if there is another show promoter....like i mentioned before, james and i would gladly entertain trying to form a partnership to assist in qualifying those in sask and alberta
dukk to answer your question....james is holding a show in calgary and we are having one in crankbrook(just a few hours from there) so if we choose to change it to a 2 show qualification there is now real reason that for the alberta guys cant qualify for the westerns

I have a question......If I do 3 events(or 2, whatever is decided) of say db drag, could I potentially compete at both db drag AND Iasca at the finals, eventhough I only competed at db drag all year???? or do I technically have to compete at 2 or 3 of each sanction, making it actually 4 or 6 events I have to be at?????? I will probably be at that many anyways, but I'm sure others would like to know as well.

Yes, would still go even if not eligible. Being a part of a great show is fun and magnetic. Hypothetically, would you be glad to actually win the event or place well according to score, but not go home with the title? The satisfaction of knowing you placed or won would be good enough for me. Besides.....you get to be a part of the event, show and demo your car, get new ideas, and be a part of the partying!! How fun.
