i dont really see a problem competeing in your own shows so long ans none that works for the store is doing ANY judging, be it sq or install. i like to think that any judge that will be there should be able to judge fairly and without prejudice. so long as the judges are all outside the promoting company and chosen by an outside party i really dont see a problem, this isnt a little hometown show when a promoting shop can get an outside judge to judge cars, this is the triple point western finals and world finals qualifying event so we will do everything by the rules, which means that no employees will be judging sq or install, but we will be assisting in spl

Hey I'm thinking on bringing the family like I did during last years finals in Calgary. My problem is were to set up camp. I'll bring the tent trailer and stay a few extra days and see your part of the world! Any recomendations, would like powered sights and flush washrooms and the like. I'll be 1 of your helpers so count me in on being there.

Dave I agree, if the judges are outside it shouldn't matter. Like last year, what's the diff if Tim from Alpine judges you at your show, or the one down the street the next week?

our shows are always fun but in the end everybody likes to win, and be judged fairly, we always get outside people in to judge so that its fair, but people still get concerned, and thats ok, my car wont be competing at the car audio show in kelowna in august bit it will be available for demo's all day long, but it will be at the castlegar and kamloops events, where the judges will be picked by james(westec) and are sure to be unbiased

i think that you competing at show is just part of it all. The judge you bring is will be unbiased and that is all good for everyone. Defro has been busier than a bee on his car and has done work that most havent. i think he should enjoy the fruits of his labour at any show that his vehicle wants to go in. i truly think that a car shouldnt be judged by the owner, but i really cant picture dave judging the show with all the work he will be doing at his show(giving away prizes and such, dave is extremely good at that, dave gave out so much stuff last year that we akll had something in the end. and more)
