usaci 3x canadian finals, 2x db drag, updated aug 17
Well my wife, new daughter, my dog (Hannah's big sister) and myself just got back this afternoon. Decided to stay another day since our hotel suite was so nice. What an excellent show! It's been years since I've attended, and competed, in such a large show with that many cars. My first USACi event as well. It was excellent to meet you Dave and I appreciate you, James and your crew's help in accomodating me at the end of show. It was great to see some really slick installs at the show. I always love seeing that. The turnout for both SQ and SPL was amazing to see and the place to be for wild n' crazy times was definitely under the tent. I was mostly lurking around where the SQ cars where parked and my truck lol Got to meet Milton as well as he judged install on my truck, saw beamrider there and talked to the dude in the white MX3 parked beside me although I didn't get his name. Tim was a nice judge to have for SQ and gave some good comments.
I'm very pleased with my 2nd place finish in my class and was shocked to hit 123 dB considering I only have a 3-way front stage in my truck and no dedicated sub in my truck. I was also a bit suprised to figure out while at the SPL station that we used our own music lol I had fun but I only wish I was able to demo some cars while I was there as there were a few I would have liked a listen to. Another time perhaps! Kudos though to the crew for putting on an excellent show. And damn was it hot that day....
