USACi SQ & SPL Event June 17th in Prince George
I am hosting a SANCTIONED USACi SQ & SPL show on location at Visions for Saturday June 17th (the day before the Annual Cruisin Classics Fathers Day Show & Shine). So come out for a weekend of ear and eye candy. The show and shine is equivalent to Kamloops' Hot Summer Nights show with a huge emphasis on muscle cars and classics.
James (Westec) will be on hand to run the event and make sure all goes well. If you've been to one of his show you'll know that it's always fun. Westec is also the current 2 time USACi World Champion and he will be on hand to run the event. He will be bringing up 3 or 4 others along to help judge install and sq/spl.
The event will be held on location in our parking lot at Visions Electronics in the Parkhill center just across the John Hart Bridge (#170 - 556 N. Nechako Rd). PM/e-mail me for directions to the store.
I'm working on shwag and the trophies are already taken care of as we speak (1st -3rd each class). Everyone will also get a print out certificate of their highest qualified score.
An entry fee of $25 for SPL only or $45 for both SQ and SPL (sorry...if you want SQ you HAVE to do SPL as well for that section of your score sheet). All pre-registered competitors will receive the Official USACi SPL disc the day of the event and the first 10 pre-registered SQ&SPL competitors will receive a free tweak and tune night (date's to be determined) before the show on Carters meter here at the store to determine your vehicles peak frequency.
All consumer and pro classes will be available based on turnout.
We will do some spectator/competitor events during the down time while we add up the score sheets so be sure and bring your appetite/thirst/running shoes and don't be going commando that day. Anyone that has been at a Kamloops Andre's event will know what I'm talking about . (Sorry boys....had to borrow the great idea. But wait until you see how big my building is.)
For those that don't know, the Termlab sensor will be used.
This should be PG's biggest sound-off in years and if/when it's a success we can expect this to be an annual event. So the word and direct any questions to me here, PM or e-mail me at work car12@visions.ca or just stop by.
