Voicecoil Meltdown 3: Toronto Sound Clash - Aug 19 at Selective Sound - 2x Db Drag
hey guys what exactly does the noob challenge have? because im kind of scared you big boys will whip me good in the Bass race, like i said first time ive ever done anything like this with 1 sub,, very skeptical!
in bass race its not really who's the loudest. here are the rules that explain what bass race is all about it Competition Rules
looks like there wont be a noob challange due to lack of interest. there will still be bass race with 119 db and 129 db classes. all noobs are encouraged to enter those classes, you do not need a big or a very loud stereo to be competative in those specific classes.

are you allowed to sit in the car during a bass race?
im also kind of confused, if i play a song for the qualifying round, and max out my system to maximum output. what about in the other rounds then i wont have anything left to improve on? and at the same time if i dont crank it up all the way, then OVER Shoot in the qualifying, its a score of zero. any tips guys? im thinkin ill be in the 120-129 round!

yes u can sit in the car.
the point is not to max out your system but to keep your spl as close as possible to a certain lever. for example, if your car can do 150 db's that doesnt mean u'd have to be in the 149 class. u can keep it low and be in the 129 class. you do not have to go all out, thats not the point of bass race.
