Well, I just got back home from this thing. I got there around 2pm and left at around 5pm. Being an SQ kinda guy, I did not spend much time in the SPL area. Ran into Yuli and it was great chatting a bit. I spent all my time looking at cars with pricier SQ gear, and only four cars stood out from them all, unless I missed someone, and three of them were CCA regulars. Blair, Julian, and Blair had great sounding gear, which pretty much were untouchable by anyone else except one other guy. I forgot his name and he is not on CCA. He had some really impressive equipment with incredible sound. A whole car load worth of top of the line Hertz Mille speakers and subs ran off Audison Vrx chrome edition and current Lrx's.

I am very happy I went and got to hear very competent SQ rigs. I came with my buddy and did not bring my car, but now I thing I should have. Honestly, I thought no matter how good I thought my car sounded, I was afraid I would get embarrassed by the SQ gurus, and thought I could get some pointers to tweak my sound further. And while, I was there I was really enjoying sweet quality sounds. Needless to say I was very anxious to get back to my car and hear it again after hearing all that great stuff. And yet, a smile wide enough to hurt my face came over me. My system sounds amazing, I guess I was just used to it already, and hearing other great sounding systems gave me a scare. I am happy to report I can hold my own, and I will show my car off on the next SQ meet. I hope it happens soon, and I will not be forced to work that day.

I would like to install my Arc Audio 2300SE on the subs, but the system is tuned so well with the KS1000.1, I am afraid to touch it. I am also falling in love all over again with my Steg. The separation on this thing is just unreal, and I need not mention the size of cojones on it, and very high SQ is obviously a prerequisite factor.

Oh, and the weather could not have been better. Nice and sunny!!! What a day...

Sasha it was nice meeting you today. I'm sorry your listening session was cut short due to judging. There is a show in Whitby hope you can make it!
