wave mod
A wave mod is a device you put over the cone of the sub. It's used in sealed applications to sort of simulate the effect of porting a box (w/o actually doing so).
i dunno how well they work, but some ppl say they're pretty good.

i tested it out with the seal box and it does sounds like a ported box
highly recommand this WAVE MOD thingy
i would say that the device is made to make the driver sound like its in a proper sealed box when its in a freeair application
i do beleive you could also enter the driver parameters so it worked properly
i think it was a speakerworks device and i don't think it's been avalable for 10-15 years now
make a sealed box sound like its ported hows that work
