Hey all,
I am new to the site, so dont be too harsh with me...lol. I stopped doing DB Drags about 5 years ago.. after having a pretty decent run in Edmonton (I had a red ford ranger with 4 rockford 12's). So i have been considering going back into it... with my Ford Escape... but just not too sure if it is worth it anymore. I see the classes have changed now, so i dont even know what class i would be in. So what have they been hitting lately? Also... anyone in edmonton care to do an install??
Take care all
Chris

Hey Chris

If it's bD Drag Racing, you should come down to F/X Audio. Love to sit down and have a visit with you. This would be a great year to get back into dB Drag Racing.

Stop by some time 10813 101st 422 6666

Hope to here from you

Yeah, I think Ray's right this year will be big in Alberta and Edmonton for DB Drag.

And FX is the shop to do it with.

Hey Ray,
I remember your name from back when i was doing them.. i was the one beating someone from FX (i dont recall her name)... in the 3-4 class. Sorry i am not familiar with FX Audio.. other than when i would see you guys there. Because doing the Drags was just for fun... i never put a whole lot of money into it... so needless to say i still wouldnt. But... it is tempting to go back into the 3-4 class again. Thing that i would be worried about is losing...lol.

Right now i have 2 of the Rockford Fosgate P3 12" sitting in my closet, and an Power 1100 A2 to power them. However, the subs are only 500 RMS each, and the amp is rated for 1474 RMS... so it would be possible to pick up 2 more subs, and build a huge ported box (but not a wall). Prob would be, i would want only 2 subs in my Excape regularly... so i would have to get a reg sub box, and then another for doing the drags, that would hit all 4. I just dont know if it is worth the expense to get back into it.
What brands do you have at FX?
