Where is all the DB drags?
I was talking to the guys at Audio Concepts and they are no longer holding dB Drags at all.
Future shop is obviously holding their own form of show, and AutoTemp and International do the Summer Thunder format.
A couple of Iasca's at Car Salon.
Visions is holding a single (weaksauce, but better than nuffin') dB Drag on the 10th of August, other than that... we're vexed.
I am getting my trailer this week too, so you guys will see me at the Edmonton shows, since apparently that is the only option... even that is a looking a little grim.
Hopefully we get a third vehicle in our fleet, and I'm also trying to convince many others rto come to the events and show support, but it is hard to convince someone to drive that far.
Even harder is convincing store owners to hold these events... Thinking it might be worth buying a retail membership and holding 4 or 5 shows next year.

We will not be going to the other shows in clagary. We just do db drags. we got screwed by a couple of judges last year and previous years in cow town, so if it ain't db drags don't expect our car to be there, not worth our time. sad to say, but we want to go to the dbdrag finals again this year.
It`s a real bummer that AC Droped out of it, but if there is no support what do you do....
F/X audio is one of the major keys in Alberta.. he is going to have some more dbdrags..... mabye a really big big event, or just 2 really big events from Ray this year. It's hard to do when no one shows up to support him and the sport, just like last years double point event, when only 15 to 20 cars show up for a double. We got to get more people to show up for these!! Maybe that would push other stores to hold some too. we got faith in you guys this year!

Agreed.
I'm trying my darndest to support all the events, but missed Ray's last show because U-haul sucks ***.
We'll be at the rest of his, 'caus eI go tmy trailer now, and am uber hyped... can't wait for some new equipment too.
So Riprock, now the question is... where are you gonna ge ta cert score before the 27th(?!?) of this month? Or do you already have one.

if timing gets a little tight, we may all need to caravan down south for a cert.spl,i hope someone can help to fix that locally. perhaps westec may know of some businesses that would be willing to add dbdrag to their iasca/idbl events i guess stranger things could happen,we all need the points and #s' to get to worlds.man, them guys in california & florida have it easy
i'll see you guys @ the next dbdrag

That would be a long drive. The shortest distance would be like 40 hours from calgary and that is a 2X event in El Cajon California. I am sure that if Ray can get a show going by then we can get some cars there. We got a couple guys in street, got 1 or 2 in SS 3 - 4, "MAYBE A SS 1 - 2 NW". I am willing to come up and hell I might run my stock system through to help pay for the show. I dont want to see M&M spend money on there stuff and not get to go to finals. Same for Nicole and Ray.
