I agree, the north has almost always gotten shafted by all shows! Not that im from there, its just something I noticed as well, and it just seems unfair, however there are shows in QC that wouldn't be a HUGE stretch ? Closer then southern ontario for the most part no?
how are they getting the shaft?
if there are any particular people in "the north" that want shows or events all they need to do
is contact the appropriate people to make it happen. its not very difficult to pick up the phone and make a call or shoot an email.

as you can see the boys from FO SPL are more than willing to coordinate something, so there should be no complaints about anyone getting "the shaft"...

That would be great don. But another problem we have here besides all the trees is not that great of shop owners. I have brought it to the table before with some of them and really dont know what they thought. There is a huge market for it down here, everyone has a stereo in their car, the only place to show them off is at the sitty cost car parking lot every sunday. Which is pretty hurting for a population the size of Barries. Where could i go from here?

Find a restaurant or another place to hold the show. all you need is a parking lot and power.
