Alarm

I intend on getting a car alarm for my grand am before i install my system, alot of vehicles are stolen in my area. Im getting a two way system, so i know whats going on most of the time. I plan on getting it installed at Best buy since i dont really like the installs most shops around me do. Especially specific shops. Gibbies (dont go there installs are ) I trust best buy to do a professional install and to give me a decent price.

Anything i should stay away from? Anything i should know.

The quote i got was like 400 bucks for a hood pin door pins trunk pins, some impact scensors and a remote starter and two way system.

From what I've heard on this board there are some good shops in the Kitchener area. That saves you from driving all the way in T.O.

Maybe someone else can chime in here...

If you want to go to Best Buy it's your choice, but I've NEVER heard ANYTHING good about the Best Buy installs.

Viper, Python, Clifford, Avital, Hornet and a few others are all made by Directed.

Compustar is another brand of alarm that is highly rated.

Selective sound is on the border of Mississauga and Oakville and the guy really knows his stuff. He's probably one of the best installers in Toronto and a super cool guy too, highly recommended.

Like I said I've heard of some good shops in the Kitchener/Cambridge area...just can't remember the names right now...

You won't regret your decision.

Make sure you call and setup and appointment 'cause homeboy gets pretty busy sometimes.
