Hey guys, my cousin is over here in Brampton Ontario for a few days, and Im hooking him up with a Viper 790XV remote start/pager alarm system for his car.

It is a 99-2000 Auto Honda Accord 4 door.

Wondering if anyone knows anyone in the Edmonton Alberta area that can install the alarm for him at a good price.

if he had his car here, my brother would just install it for him.

I told him not to go to Futureshop or anything like that, as he'll get rapped with the install price.

Looking for a resonable price for the install, and I can probably provide the Immobilizer bypass he will need in order to use the Remote Starter on his car.

If anyone knows or has a buddy that would be willing to do the install, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for any help

hahahah No offence intended to you guys!!

Sorry, I just have this phobia of Futureshop and Best Buy installers from my experiences over here in Brampton............they really are horrible.

Who uses 10 Guage Power Wire on a 1000 watt system???

I've seen a lot of bucher jobs.

I just want a good install for my cuz, as he does not no much about this stuff.....and probably wouldn't know what to do if anything were to go wrong.

I dont like to see anyone get ripped off.

IF ANYONE can help me out it would be greatly appreciated. I failed to realize that not every Futureshop employee/installer might be as bad as the ones we got here in Brampton!!

I had my alarm installed at FS and they did a great job everything was neat and orginized well secured and all the connections were secure. I took the alarm out incase you are wondering how I know the connections were made well.

But I have also had my problems with FS the ruined a set of xovers doing a crappy job. I had them do a component install they did a great job with the custome mounting on the tweet and 5 1/4 and then basicaly through the x over in the door with some double sided tape to secure it to the metal panel. 6 months later the x over was rusted to hell because it had fallen into the bottom of the door. When I dropped the car off I asked that the xovers be mounted behind the kicks and I was told they could be put in the doors no problem.

Basicaly with FS in my experience it all depends on the installer.

yea Greg I know how you feel about the Futureshop experience.
I guess I should have been a little more clearer in my original post. I just ment that I wouldn't want him to have gone into any futureshop and have the install done by just anyone.

Reason I come on the board to seek help, is I know there is A LOT of great guys who know how to do this stuff all over Canada. Not to take anything away from you if you work at Futureshop.....just I wouldn't like a Buccher job done on my cousin's car by somebody who didn't know what they were doing.

I just want to get everything set up for him so when he goes back to Edmonton he doesn't have to worry about arranging to have his alarm installed.
I dont need his alarm to be installed this weekend.

I would just like to establish a contact for him to call when he's ready to do the alarm install after he gets back home to Edmonton at a fair price.

DERECK - If yourself or anyone can do the job please let me know.

Im sure he wouldn't mind taking a drive to Medicin Hat to get a good install done on his alarm.

If only I didn't move from Edmonton to here in Ontario 5 years ago!!
