I have a strange issue and I am wondering if anyone has come across anything similar.

I just replaced a Clifford RSX3.5 alarm with Clifford 5906x in my 1991 Honda Accord. I am pretty sure that the wiring is correct as I have another accord with a remote start Viper alarm in it. Sort of like a copy and paste type situation. Anyways as soon as I reconnected the battery I noticed that the parking lights came on right away. I got in and it seemed like the auto start was automatically engaged. I pressed the clutch and the car fired right up. keep in mind the remote wan not communication with the alarm. The status light was unresponsive on the "control center" I am hoping someone can help me out. Maybe I got a bad unit?
