ok here is my problem. i have a clifford alarm that is 7 yars old it has the remote with the big green button on the top left and two small button below. the problem is that it doesnt always work as the case clip is broken at the bottom of the remote as well i have to be within 5 feet of the car for it to arm and disarm. the alarm works great when armed so getting a new alarm to me seems like a waste since the main problems are turning it on and off and distance being so close to arm it. i have checked the alarm attena and it is not blocked and pointing towards the drivers window from under the dash. but still im having problems and YES i have changed the batterys quite a few times. before i forget i have two remotes and have the same problem with both.

any help would be great.

 

get a new one!!
