computstar alarm

hey guys i found one brand new in the box on craigs list and the lady was asking 275 is it is a good deal she says its the 07 model with the model number 2W9000FM[433]- i cant find it on there website or on the net therw google search and i was just wondering if its a good deal and if its for auto or manual trannys. thanks guys.

it should have as in its part name I think to identify it as an autostart alarm and all compustars I've sold and installed have been good for both manual and auto

If the remotes are good, yes. If the unit is a alarm starter brain (CM3000) then yes. If it is any other model # brain or is missing parts or remotes then it is definitely not a good deal when you could spend a little bit more and have the new PRO version with full warranty.

the lady says its band new in the box never opened so i would say it would be worth it.

Go look at it and find out the model # of the brain first. If it is not a CM3000 brain, it is not a remote start alarm brain. As such it is not a good deal at all. Look at all the wiring as well, it is easy to tell if it is new or not..... make sure both remotes are there, the lcd paging one and the basic one, the fm antenna and cable, the knock sensor and cable, the shock sensor and cable, the siren..... you are the one risking your money, cover all bases dude.
