Help with Compustar Alarm/Starter

Hi,

Im just in need of some help with programming the secondary remote for my
Compustar 2W900FMAS Alarm/Starter, the primary one was sent out for repairs, and the installer re programed this remote, but the starter function seems to of stopped working and wont go into ready mode, and even when i go to lock it, the blue LED seems to not go on anymore as well.
I've taken it in already previously, and they did something with the remote and just reprogrammed it again, and it worked fine. So im wondering if there is a procedure i can do to re program it without bugging the installers again?

Thanks.

Sounds like it might be in valet mode, which will disable most functions except door locks. If I remember correctly you turn that on and off by pressing I & III on the 2 way remote, or the lock and trunk button on the one way remote. The remote should have it labeled on the back with the appropriate buttons to press though.

Thats what i thought originally, but on the remote it usually would show ZzZ's on the LCD, and the Door locks wouldnt even work. Mind you i cant tell on this secondary remote.( The main remote is being sent out for repairs)
So i im just wondering what the process is to re program the remote, i know the installers did something with turning the keys while in the IGN 5 times, without starting it.. after that im not too sure, but they always got it to work after that.
Oh.. Forgot to mention, my battery died recently, so i dont know if that would effect anything or not.

Programming the remote requires cycling the key from the off to the on(not cranking) position 5 times and then with the key still in the on position pressing button I or Lock on each remote to be programmed. It should flash and/or chirp to confirm each remote then you can turn the key off, and you should be good to go.
